Losmandy GM811G GoTo Mount with HD Tripod

Mounts from Scott Losmandy are legendary. They do not only look very elegantly, they convince with best mechanics and modern electronics. Little wonder that the mounts from Losmandy are amongst the most popular mounts for astrophotography.

Losmandy has improved the GM811G in many areas:

Even easier operation thanks to the GoTo-System Gemini 2

Improved stability due to a more stable lattitude adjustment (identical in construction with the larger G11 mount)

Improved tracking through larger worm gear and high-precision worms

The saddle plate accepts Losmandy (3") style and Vixen/EQ5 (2") style dovetail bars.

Electronic polar alignment possible, however, a polar finder scope can be retrofitted.

Adjustable friction clutch in both axes, thus the mount becomes more user friendly.

The hand controller has a touch screen on the front and four elevated buttons on the rear, so you can move the mount even with gloves.

The tripod can be folded for transport.
