Taurus T500 20" Truss Dobsonian Telescope

This gigantic Dobsonian with more than half a metre aperture is exactly the right for true Dobsonian enthusiasts. Anyone who has ever observed with a high aperture telescope on a star party under dark skies knows that with such a telescope observation is totally redefined. Details usually known only from astro images can suddenly be seen live. Brighter objects show colors. And galaxies show structures in the spiral arms.

What´s really special about this telescope is its mobility. With only 44 kg total weight, the heaviest single part weighs only 27 kg, the Dobsonian can still be moved by one person. Thus one is independent and can "go to the field" with the telescope at any time. The Polish manufacturer remains true to the 1 person motto also after assembling. The collimation of the primary mirror is done at the side of the focuser.
