Modern Astronomy Revolution Imager R2 - EU version
The Revolution Imager R2 is suitable for all telescopes with 1.25" or 2" focusers. With the Imager you can see much fainter objects than with the naked eye. Observe spiral arms of galaxies, faintest structures in planetary nebulas or fine individual stars within star clusters. You can see details, that would otherwise only be visible to astrophotographers.

Demonstrate the full potential of your telescope to a group of people, others can watch the same objects via the connected monitor. For that reason the Imager R2 is ideal for clubs and observatories.

The perception of color of deep-sky objects with the naked eye starts with telescopes with more than 400 mm aperture. Structures in bright galaxies become visible with roughly 250 mm aperture. But not with the Revolution Imager. Even small telescopes with 150 mm aperture already show colors and faint structures, such as the spiral arms of galaxies, can be seen even through beginner´s telescope.

The advantages of Revolution Imager compared to observation with the naked eye:
You can see significantly fainter objects
Shared observation amongst a group becomes possible
Observe nebulae and galaxies in color
Perceive finest details on the Moon or planets without problems
Ideal when combined with a GoTo telescope. Now you can finally make use of your huge deep-sky database

What the Revolution Imager consists of:
Highly sensitive astro video camera with automatic stacking of single frames. The camera is significantly more sensitive than customary CMOS or CCD sensors.
7" color display with base for convenient observation
1.25" connection to the telescope
0.5x reducer for large celestial objects
UV/IR block filter for increased contrast
All cables for the connection of the monitor
There is no power supply in the scope of delivery! If you don´t have one, please order one from the linked accessories.
