Avalon Polar Finder Bracket for M-Uno mount

This polar viewfinder simply attaches to the M-Uno mount and allows you to aim towards the polar star with an optional polar finder, without having to disassemble the optical tube of your installation.

It is very useful to realize accurate setups, in order to realize images in long exposure with optimal sidereal tracking.

Once the polar viewfinder is mounted and calibrated, you only need to match the date and time of observation on the graduated aluminum circles of the mount and the viewfinder. The next step is to move your mount using latitude and azimuth fine motions to align the polar star with the optical mark of the reticle (indicated by the year at the time of observation).

This method makes it possible to align the mount almost instantaneously on the celestial pole.
