Bresser Guiding Set AR90/500 for astrophotography

The universal guiding set is easy to install. Due to the 2" GP/EQ5 style dovetail bar and the dovetail clamp, you can attach the guiding set to almost any telescopes, mounts and dual mounts. Thus there are no more obstacles for long exposure photography with active guiding, also called autoguiding.

The guiding kit fits very well to the carrying handle as it is offered for the Bresser Messier and Explore Scientific telescopes. Suitable screws are included in the scope of delivery. For other telescopes it is also sufficient to attach the dovetail clamp to the tube rings or a connection bar. Then the telescope can easily and quickly attached to the clamp and also be detached as quickly.

Before the first use, please install the camera driver and any autoguiding software on your Windows computer or notebook. Autoguider software is not included in the scope of delivery. Among others, the camera is suited for PHD Guiding, Guidedog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (freeware) or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (with costs).

Step by step to perfect autoguiding:

Attach the guiding set to the main telescope via the dovetail clamp or a dual mount (see accessory recommendations).

Connect the guiding camera to the mount. Use the ST4 autoguider port of your mount.

Connect the guiding camera with your Windows computer.

Focus the camera with the focuser - and you are ready to begin with astrophotography.

By the way, camera and guide scope can also be used well for imaging moon and planets and even brighter deep-sky objects.
