TS-Optics TSBF1 Barlow Lens 1.25" - doubles focal length and magnifications

A Barlow lens increases the focal length of your telescope and therefore also the magnification. Simply put your 1.25" eyepiece into the Barlow lens, lock it and insert both into the focuser. If you, for example, get 30x magnification with your eyepiece, it increases to 60x with the TS-Optics Barlow lens. Thus you can save many eyepieces and gain in flexibility.

Photography with the TS-Optics TSBF1 2x Barlow

A special feature of the Barlow lens is the attached T2-thread. Thus you can attach your SLR to your telescope. You only need a matching T2-ring. Thus the Barlow turns into a powerful teleconverter with approximately 2.5x magnification of the focal length. if your telescope has, let´s say, 900 mm focal length, you get a powerful telephoto lens with approximately 2250 mm focal length. With this, you can well photograph lunar craters or planets.

The TSBF1-Barlow lens is designed in such a way that the Barlow element (i.e. the magnifying optics) can be unscrewed from the holder. You can insert this element into the adapter TST2-1-T2L. This adapter has the usual T2 thread on both sides, so the Barlow can easily be screwed between two T2 threads. This gives you the possibility to use the Barlow element also for astrophotography.
