TS-Optics Flattener / Field Corrector for PhotoLine apochromats with 60 mm aperture
The corrector is especially designed for the compact travel apochromats from Teleskop-Service and provides optimal results with these telescopes. Even limited use of cameras with full frame size sensors is possible. The corrector is especially suited for:
TS-Optics PhotoLine 60 mm f/5.5 Apo
TS-Optics PhotoLine 60 mm f/6 Apo

Advantages and features:
Connection at the telescope side via the male M54x0.75 thread of the rotation system. The corrector fits directly into the female thread of these focusers. No push fit and therefore no tilting.
Inkluding 360° rotation systm with M54 connection (male, female) at both ends for perfect positioning of the camera to the object. The flattener can also be screwed directly to the focuser, without the rotation system.
The corrector is designed especially for the compact and fast travel apochromats and provides optimal results with these telescopes.
M48x0.75 photo thread at the camera side provides 15% better illumination than T2 and also allows the (limited) use of full frame size sensors.
Working distance of 55 mm from the M48 thread. With a suitable T-adapter, which is linked in the accessories section, you can automatically reach the optimal distance when using a DSLR camera. If you remove the extension tube, you increase the working distance to 72,5 mm for adapting any astro camera.
The corrector is fully multi-coated. Additionally, absolute absence of reflections is achieved through a matte-black internal anti-reflex coating. The image thus offers a very high contrast which is also helpful at daylight photography (landscape, birds, ...).

Question:

"Produces a perfect, flat image on my Canon 80D. I was advised by TS´s friendly crew to add a 1mm spacer to reach the correct distance precisely. On the telescope side a 2"" filter can be mounted and I use a CLS filter almost all the time. No vignetting. 360° rotation system is added, which is very important to rotate the camera freely. It does not affect focus!"
