ALccd6 monochrome guiding and deep sky camera - 7,8 mm sensor

The Astrolumina ALccd6 is an actively peltier cooled CCD camera very suitable for beginners and also as a sensitive guiding camera. Data transfer is done by an USB 2.0 interface. Additionally, this model features a RJ-12 connector for analog guiding according to the SBIG ST-4 protocol.

Very useful is the fact that 12 V power is only needed for the peltier cooling system; the camera itself is powered by the USB cable. If one, for instance, plans to do lunar or planetary imaging with short exposure times no additional power source is needed.

Minimum system requirements:

- PC with Win XP SP2 (older systems are not supported)
- CPU min. 400 MHz, min. 256 MB RAM
- > 10GB free hard disc space
- USB 2.0 port (USB 1.1 is not recommended)
- Graphics with min. 1024 x 756, 16 million colours
