Thanks to technological innovation, Hoya has successfully optimized the mass production of FCD100. An optical glass with an extremely low dispersion, which even comes close to fluorite. By combining it with an optical glass with a high refractive index, it has been possible to achieve an unprecedented innovative chromatic aberration correction.

Large 2.5" focuser - precise and stable:
The improved 2.5 inch hybrid focuser makes observation and photography even more convenient and precise. This focuser is based on the Crayford principle, but with an additional guide rail in the form of a toothed rack with helical grooves. The combination of these techniques makes the focuser particularly precise and yet stable.
Easily connect whatever you want, from adapters to large eyepieces or heavy camera gear: it can carry gear weighing up to 10 kg. Once the focus is set, it stays in place with every movement of the telescope.
