Askar SQA55 manual 264 mm f/4.8 APO telephoto lens
The powerful telephoto lens with manual focusing is designed for astrophotography, but can also be used very well for nature photography thanks to its practical operation. The aperture ring allows you to influence the depth of field. Manual focusing is very sensitive and precise. The robust mechanical construction guarantees durability and reliable operation even under extreme conditions, such as when used on cold, clear winter nights.

Link to AstrobinConnecting the camera to the SQA55:The telephoto lens offers the popular M48x0.75 photo thread on the camera side. The working distance is 55 mm from the M48 thread. This means that all common photo adapters fit the lens and the camera is automatically at the correct distance, regardless of whether you want to connect a DSLR, mirrorless system camera or astro camera. We will be happy to advise you on choosing the right adapter. You can rotate the camera to select the correct image section.
Lens Hood Special Reversible Design:The lens hood is fixed by a slot; when the lens hood is not in use, it can be stored on the lens barrel in reverse to reduce the overall volume, and when using it, it only needs to be stuck on the lens.

Camera Quick Release Base:Camera quick-release knobs on top of the handle and bottom bracket, which can be used to convert the OTA to camera lens mode manually and quickly without additional tools.

Diversified Photograpyh Scene Applications:Optical and mechanical design optimized for both astronomical photography and daily photography; it can be used to connect to astronomy cameras to take star photos or connect to DSLR or mirrorless system cameras to be used as camera lenses.
