"This UTA does make the job.I purchased this UTA to mount a EL 10x50 swarovski binocular on a tripod.In order to wrap the elastic strap around the binoculars,one must use too much force to wrap the strip around the binoculars.It may be good for smaller binoculars.So before mounting the binoculars,I take off the strap from it´s base and stretch it as much as I can and only after that I can easily wrap it around the binoculars. I would expect the strap to be more flexible. "
