"Small telescope, great for observing the Moon and the Sun with the Baader Astrosolar solar filter. On the Moon you can see very little chromatism, but I have seen that by moving objects towards the edge of the field of view, they tend to become blurry. But this problem does not affect much, thanks to the wide field. The construction appears solid, all in metal except for the rod that connects the focus knobs that seems to be made of hard plastic. If you want to use a diagonal just shorten the telescope tube by unscrewing the 70mm section, I did it with a little difficulty because it was tightened quite tightly. I managed to do it with my bare hands anyway. Its base is not Vixen style, but it is smaller. Rereading the characteristics I saw that it is suitable for the finder clamps. I replaced it with a short Vixen style base."

"Sitzt gut zusammen. Fokussierer ist glatt und gut. Tut, was er tun soll. Wenn in Gebrauch: Innenseite des Zwischentubus von 70mm braucht sehr viel Beflockung. Ansonsten glänzt er zu sehr im Inneren. Chromatische Aberration nicht zu schlecht, aber spürbar. Obwohl es sich um ein ED..... handelt, aber gut dann f/4. Gute Optik, aber erreicht nicht die 2XD Vergrößerung wie im Text angegeben. 1.6XD ist realistischer. Ausgezeichnetes Weitwinkelinstrument, mit einem Augenzwinkern zu Mond und Planeten. Erfüllt sowohl die erste als auch die zweite Aufgabe besser als manches Spektiv, und das zu einem geringeren Preis. "

"Leider hatte ich die Idee den Sucher als Kleinteleskop zu nutzen. Aber mit einem Prisma oder Spiegel sinkt die Qualität massiv."

"Ich verwende das TS-Optics 50 mm f/4 ED Reiserefraktor (TSSU50f4) in Verbindung mit: - Daystar Instruments COMBO QUARK Chromosphären Filter (DSZCC) + - Skywatcher SolarQuest (20320) für mobiles Erfassen der Sonne. - TS-Optics 1,25"" UV und IR Sperrfilter (IR1-E) - 0,5x-Reducer mit 1,25 Zoll Filtergewinde (TSRED051) Kaum zu glauben, dass ich endlich ein mobiles Gerät für den Urlaub habe um die Sonne zu erfassen. ich kann das Produkt TS-Optics 50 mm f/4 ED Reiserefraktor (TSSU50f4) weiter empfehlen."

Ive been using this as a guide scope with a ZWO 290mm mini for a couple of months now. Guiding an HAE43 with a SVX102T refractor. This is the sharpest guide scope Ive used and the focuser is so much easier to deal with than the typical helical focuser on most guide scopes. Its small, lightweight, and easily mounted. Great scope!

"Sehr schönes leitrohr, leider hat der OAZ keine Feststellschraube. Man kann aber eine der Druckplattenschrauben am OAZ entfernen und stattdessen eine Rändelschraube eindrehen. So lässt sich der OAZ feststellen."
