Integrated Flip Mirror System: The Nexstar4 has two separate adaptation points for accessories. On top with a 90° viewing angle you can insert eyepieces for visual observing. With a large knob you can flip away the mirror inside so that the light will instead exit the telescope straight-through. At the back of the telescope you can adapt cameras and other accessories (see image)!

With the optional T2 adaptation you can attach SLR cameras and CCD cameras. You can switch between straight-through and 90° within less than a second!

The NexStar SE 1 Mount

This is one of the most important advantages of this instrument when compared to most similar instruments. The telescope can be easily removed from the mount, allowing you to use it on a different mount as well.

You can directly attach other instruments to the NexStar mount. The instrument only needs to have a Vixen-style dovetail plate (available separately if you don't already have one) and a short enough tube length.
