Tele Vue Radian 6mm - 1,25" - 60° field of view - ERD-06.0

Radian Eyepieces from Televue offer a very good visible Field of view of 60°. Observing is very comfortable.Radian Eyepieces are high quality alrounders for starfriends who place high demands on the quality.

Field of application for the Radians
perfect for the observation of the moon and planets. Pictures lightness and contrast can easilypit against very good Plössl or orthoscopic Eyepieces with much more comfort. That causes also a higher amount of details that can be observed.
On telescopes without tracking like a dobsonian, the 60° field of view , the Radians show their full advandage. With those instruments you let the objects drive through the visibel field ogf view.Due to the extreme sharpness over the entire field , the Radians can be used even on very fast optics and objects can be seen sharp from edge to edge.
Deepsky observation can also be done with the Radian eyepieces.

The field of view of 60° is just a little smaller than the considered field of view of human detection that is about 65°.So the Radians are recommended for observers attaching value on the quality, the comfort and less in an extreme lare field of view.
Observing with a binocular attached is possible, in some cases there might occur problems due to the extension of the top of the eyepiece that can cause distance where you can`t put your nose in between.
The biggest diameter of the Radian eyepieces is 46mm
