Lens shade & flexible dew cap for Celestron 6 + 8" Schmidt-Cassegrains

Especially for Schmidt- and Maksutov-Cassegrain systems, a dew cap is important. In relatively humid night, the corrector plate cools down quickly and gathers dew or even ice what makes further observations or photograpy impossible. Additionally, the dew caps prevents straylight from entering the optical system which enhances the image contrast.

The lens shade is fixed to the telescope with a useful velcro fastener. For transport, it does not need more space than a flat carton. Alternatively, it can be pushed back on the OTA. There, it does not need any space at all and it additionally protects your telescope tube against scratches.
