RK eyepieces are an improved variant of the classic Kellner design. The field sharpness is improved and the viewing comfort is better than in Plossl eyepieces of the same focal length.

RK eyepieces are the ideal choice for astronomers looking for a low cost but good quality eyepiece. The somewhat longer eye relief makes them well suited for beginners.

The RK eyepiece has a rubber eyeguard as protection against stray light. The eyeguard can be folded down for eyeglass wearers.


The RK 10mm

The eyepiece has a long eye relief. Even beginners will have no difficulty viewing the entire field of view. The RK 10mm is a low cost good quality eyepiece for many applications.

The field stop is positioned in front of the lenses. This makes the eyepiece a good choice building yourself a crosshair eyepiece..
