Adapter from the 3" SC thread to 2" receptacle for accessories (#2458197)

This Adapter fits to the big C11 and C14 SC thread and adapts to accessories with 2" barrels. With only 35mm, it has a very short optical length.

The clamping mechanism:
Two knurled screws, acting on a brass compression ring, make a firm locking of accessores sure. They are big enough to be operated comfortably even when you wear gloves.

The advantage of the 2" receptacle at telescopes with SC thread:
With this adapter, you have a fully illuminated field. Star diagonals with SC connection of have a narrow adapter causing loss of light. With this adapter and a 2" diagonal mirror, you can use all the aperture you paid for. Additionally, you can take full advantage of the wide 2" accessory range:

-- Focal reducers and field flatteners
-- 2" star diagonals
-- 2" eyepieces and adaptions
