The Baader Sulfur nebula filter has been designed for capturing gas- and planetary nebulae. The maxium transmission lies at 673 nm, a little bit "longer" than H-a. Due to the narrow bandwith of only 8nm, high contrast can be achieved even under difficult conditions.

Super Nova remnants like the Cirrus Nebula or planetary nebulae are depicted fullo of contrast with this Baader filter. Artificial straylight and IR are completely blocked.
