Photo adapter for the EQ1 mount
With this adapter, you can turn your EQ1 into a good base for cameras and smaller spotting scopes. In combination with a tracking motor, you can use this mount even for astro photography with wide-angle or standard photo lenses.

The adapter replaces the standard telescope base plate. The conversion is done witin a few minutes.

This is how the EQ1 looks with the photo adapter. The (otpional) camera is locked by twisting the 1/4" screw that fits to all cameras and spotting scopes.
