The TL1307 Triplet APO is made for demanding astronomers, both for visual and photographical applications. Its modern air-spaced triplet lens design offers a colour correction normally only reached on telescopes with a longer focal ratio.

With its short tube length and low weight the telescope is ideal for portable astronomy and fits well on an affordable equatorial mount.

With its very fast focal ratio of f/6 you can do astro imaging with very short exposure times and you will still get the contrast and image definition that well-made refractors are famous for. We offer high performance field flatteners for this telescope for best results that will suit even the most demanding astro imagers.

Advantages and Features of the TL1307:

A telescope of this quality level deserves an equally good focuser for best results. The Baader Steeltrack is the best focuser that we know in this price range. It is strong enough to hold even heavy astrophotographical loads of over 4kgs, yet at the same time offers an extremely smooth focusing motion.

The optional 2.5" field flattener can be screwed directly onto the focuser for a firm connection.

This spot diagram demonstrates the superb colour correction reached by the TL1307's lens despite its very fast focal ratio of f/6. A large part of the visual spectrum is perfectly corrected. Only extreme red and blue wavelengths are slightly less well corrected, but still on a level that is far superior to simple ED refractors.
