For safe observations of the sun

The Solarscope is:

The SolarScope projects (similar to a solar projection screen) a picture of the sun with approx. 115mm diameter to a white screen. The objective has 40mm aperture, the equivalent focal length is 13m. With the SolarScope, you can see:

- Solar spots
- Flares
- Limb darkening
- partial solar eclipses
- transits of mercury and venus

The solar scope can be set up with "a twist of the wrist" and is very easy to use, even for children.		SolarScope, back view (similar model)

- Base and observing cabin are made from robust carton
- Objective and secondary mirror are made from glass
- Overall picture quality better than 1 Lambda
- Dimensions: ca. 47 x 36 x 30cm

The SolarScope is real fun for classrooms. Setup and use are quite easy. Within minutes, you have visible results for a complete group of persons (students), not only for one-after-the-other. And - an important aspect - it is not immediately damaged if it is accidentally hit by a pupil!

Observations: With the solar scope, one can observe the general solar surface and sun spots at no risk.
