Description

Multi Color Filter and Variable Polarizer - multi-function filter !!!!

The 1.25" Multi Color Filter serves to replace a number of colour filters and a variable polarizer / moon filter at the same time. It is the perfect allround filter for observing the solar system.

Specialty: The CC1 filter is well suited to suppress false colour on refractor telescopes!

TSCC1 variable colour filter and polarizer

Filter Options - Systematic Image (above):

Upper row ... different colour nuances available in the variable colour setting. Several nuances of blue and yellow are available.
Lower row ... variable neutral density. Equivalent to a variable polarizer. Ideal to adjust the brightness of an object in fine increments.

Applications as variable colour filter and variable polarizer:

The TSCC1 filter is a unique filter combining the functions of a number of separate colour filters and that of a regular variable polarizer. This saves space in your eyepiece case and also saves money!

1) A Variable Polarizing Filter for adjustable brightness
Ideal for observing the moon and the brighter planets. Transmission can be adjusted from approximately 15% to approximately 80%.

2) Variable False Colour Reduction for refractors
- False colour can have a very different intensity on different refractors and with different magnifications. Regular false-colour-reduction filters cannot be adjusted, which means that they are not suitable for all applications. On the CC1 filter you can variably adjust the filter to different yellow or blue colour settings so that false colour will be suppressed in the proper measure.

3) Variable Yellow Filter
Boosts contrast for lunar and planetary observing. You can finely tune the colour for best results.

4) Variable Blue Filter
Can be adjusted from light blue to medium blue. Ideal for gas planets.

5) Useful on almost all telescopes
All settings of the CC1 filter are variable in intensity. This makes it ideal for almost all telescope sizes.
