Baader Universal Quick Release Finder Base - suitable also for Schmidt-Cassegrains - #2457000A

The finder quick release base, or "finder shoe", is compatible with many standard finder brackets for 6x30 finders, 8x50 finders and some red dot finders. The base can be used on telescopes that do not themselves have a base, or as an additional base in a different position on the telescope.

The base has the Vixen finder format which is used among others by:
Vixen / Skywatcher / GSO / Celestron / Helios / and many others

The Baader base is CNC machined and has a variable radius and elongated holes which make it fit on almost any telescope, including Schmidt-Cassegrains.

Adaptation to the Tube:

The Baader finder base has two elongated holes for screws up to M5, with either a countersunk head or a flat cylindrical head.
Spacing between the screws: 27-45mm

In addition the base has a central countersunk hole for screws up to M5.

Screws and nuts are not included in the scope of delivery.
