The Skywatcher BlackDiamond Maksutov with 127mm aperture is a versatile and powerful astronomical telescope. 127mm aperture gather 60% more light than a refractor with 100mm aperture - and this with a very compact OTA. The tube is only 34cm long and very transportable.

Applications:

-- Astronomical Observing: This compact telescope has an excellent performance for observing the moon and the planets. In addition it is also great for viewing compact deep sky objects like planetary nebulae and galaxies.
-- Spotting Scope for Nature Observing: The 127mm Maksutov is a very powerful spotting scope for nature observing and birdwatching. On calm days with a quiet atmosphere you can reach extremely high magnifications.
