Monochrome Deep Sky CCD and guiding camera ALccd 5.2 - Chip Diameter 7,8mm

The ALccd 5.2 is an actively peltier cooled CCD camera very suitable for beginners and also as a sensitive guiding camera. Data transfer is done by an USB 2.0 interface. Additionally, this model features a RJ-12 connector for analog guiding according to the SBIG ST-4 protocol. Very useful is the fact that 12V power is only needed for the peltier cooling system; the camera itself is powered by the USB cable. If one, for instance, plans to do lunar or planetary imaging with short exposure times no additional power source is needed.
