Skywatcher Black Line 102/1000mm refractor with NEQ-3 mount(Delivery with aluminium tripod)

A refractor with 102mm aperture already offers enough resolution for lunar and planetary observations. On the other hand, there's enogh light to show thousands of Nebulae, Star Clusters and Galaxies. With a focal ratio of f/10, the colour correction is very good.

Skywatcher NEQ-3 German equatorial mount The NEQ-3 mount:

The German equatorial mount NEQ-3, a further development of the EQ-3, is a solid base for this refractor. An equatorial mount allows very easy celestial observations. A coarse polar alignment is enough for visual purposes and the telescope can track the stars by operating the R.A. knob only. Additionally, objects can be centeres easily at high magnifications.

The NEQ-3 advantages:

-- Precise manufacturing for precise tracking
-- Universal GP dovetail clamp for fast setup
-- Upgradable with polar viewfinder and dual-axis motor drive (see
"accessories" section) for astro photography

A solid base: The aluminium profile field tripod

A further specialty of this mount is the solid aluminium profile field tripod. The best mount is worthless when the tripod is not stiff enough. The height range reaches from 71 to 123 cm and can therefore be adapted to your individual needs.
