TS ROT-System - Multi-Purpose Adaptation for Astro-Imaging

The TS Rotation System is a special adaptation with extra functions not available with standard adaptations. It allows you to connect the camera to a telescope or to other adaptors and at the same time introduce a 2" filter between the camera and the telescope with a short length. With several lenses with a short back focus the ROT system might be the only possible solution.

An additional function is a comfortable 360° rotation.

Applications

Using a 2" filter in front of a camera... important in such cases where there is not normally any provision to use filters ( see image left )

Dust Protection for the Camera... The filter will protect the inside of the camera from dust.

Quick Changer... This function allows you to attach or remove the camera within seconds.

360° Rotation... a quick and convenient method to rotate the camera without changing the focus.

2" Adaptation... The base adaptor has a second function as an ultra-short 2" clamp / visual back that allows you to attach eyepieces etc.

Variants of the TS Rotation System:

We offer 9 different variants of the TS Rotation System. Each adaptation consists of two parts - the "base adaptor" and the "camera adaptor".

Under "recommended accessories" you can find links to the other variants of the ROT system. The model for sale in this particular product presentation is highlighted in the table below and also described above in the short description.

Below the table you will find a schematic of how the Rotation System works and how it can be combined.

Like always on our website the described threads refer to the thread of the adaptor, not the thread of what the adaptor is made for. For example, if it says "T2 female" it means that the adaptor has a T2 female thread. It can therefore be used on other adaptors with a T2 male thread.
