The Rubinar 300 is a fast and compact Tele-Objective with good field illumination. Despite the fast f/4.5 system, the sensor of a DSLR camera is fully illuminated. The Rubinar 300 is ideal for travelling because it is not much bigger than a standard objective.

The built-in multi-coated field flattener offers sharp focus over the entire field. This makes the Rubinar 300 a powerful objective for birding, landscapes and astro photography.

The integrated sunshade offers protection against dew and straylight. It is screwed on the front side and can be mounted also vice-versa for easy transport.

Photography with the Rubinar 300

The Rubinar 300 is a fast and versatile Tele-Objective. One of its main characteristics is the crisp focus, also off-axis.

Field of application:

-- Animal spotting / Safari
-- Birding
-- Astro photography

Especially the crisp off-axis focus makes this objecitve interesting for demanding Photographers. The compact dimensions and short exposure times enable one to shoot without tripod. This is an interesting point for sport events and animal photography.

Astro Photographers appreciate the good field illumination and minor distortions as the picture on the left shows.

Important note: In order to adapt a DSLR camera to this objective, you need (beneath a T2 ring) additionally the Baader adapter #1508015 (see accessories). Otherwise the camera cannot be connected!

An adaptation with a low profile M42 adaptor for DSLR cameras will not work. In this case the flash housing of the camera would collide with the Rubinar.
