Starway VC4 Dual Mount

Side-by-Side mounting is, compared with piggyback systems, the more stable option. It's e.g. recommended to fix a big finder, a guide scope, a camera... parallel to the main telescope.

Advantages of the Starway VC4:
-- very lightweight: 0.94 kgs only
-- very compact: 37.5 cm length
-- solid: clamping is done not only by a screw tip but across the full dovetail surface
-- versatile: even systems with a bigger weight difference can be mounted.

With the side-by-side mount, the payload's balance point is closer to the mount. Additionally, the tube rings of the main telescope have no additional stress caused by a piggyback system.

The Starway VC4 is e.g. suitable for:
-- Skywatcher EQ3, EQ5, HEQ5 and EQ6
-- Celestron CAM - Advanced Mount Goto
-- Meade/Bresser Mon2, LXD75
-- Vixen GP2, GPD2

... and for all mounts equipped with Vixen GP dovetail receptacles.
