Applications:

Nature Observing, Birdwatching, Hunting: whenever you have need for a particularly bright image the 11x70 is an excellent choice. With its large exit pupil diameter it is ideally suited for low light conditions. With its moderate magnification the instrument can be used free-handed.

Astronomy: 70mm of aperture means twice as much light compared with 50mm binoculars. As a result many hundred objects are within reach. Enjoy a "walk" through the milky way, or observe extended gas nebulae or star clusters. The 15x70 is the ideal alternative to a telescope, or a perfect companion for a telescope.

Excellent Viewing Comfort - Long Eye Relief:
The 1170 LE has a long eye relief. This results in an excellent viewing comfort - you don't need to squeeze your eyes into the eyepiece.

With 18mm these binoculars have a longer eye relief than many premium binoculars. The 11x70LE is fully suitable for eyeglass wearers - even with glasses on you can still view the entire field of view. Just push back the soft rubber eyeguard and your glasses will rest securely on a rubber surface to avoid scratches.

Full Multi-Coating:
For the 11x70 LE we have chosen an excellent multi-coating on all glass to air surfaces. The result is a brighter image and better contrast.

ED Objektives for more Contrast:
The both 70mm Objectives have ED Elements for more contrast and a better image.

Photo Tripod Adaptation:
For extended usage or for observing from a fixed location (e.g. an observation stand) you should place the binoculars on a tripod. For this we offer an optional tripod adaptor (see "recommended accessories") that will adapt the binoculars on any camera tripod. We of course also offer a broad range of suitable tripods.
