This adapter fulfils several functions.

Adaption of 2" filters to camera objectives: With this adapter, you can fix 2" (M48) filters on objectives with M54 filter thread. Via the M54 thread, you can aditionally adapt to other theads. Link to the Baader adapters

Adaption of CCD cameras with M54 thread to the telescope: bigger CCD cameras with full size sensors should not be adapted via T2 because the smaller diameter of this system would cause vignetting. For instance, the Atik 11000 camera uses the M54 thread.

It offers also direct connection to SC threads and (with an additional adapter ring) to 2".
