Planetary HR are suitable for all purposes.
They can be used for planets, the moon, deep sky objects as well as for projection photography. In this respect, the labelling is too narrow.

Observing the Moon and the Planets:

A very high contrast and image definition, especially on the optical axis, make the HR Planetary eyepieces the ideal companion for demanding planetary and lunar observing. Due to the very good viewing comfort, you can see even finer details without having to strain your eyes.

Observing Deep Sky Objects: Nebulae and Galaxies :

Compact Deep Sky Objects are often difficult to see because they are often very faint. The HR Planetary eyepieces are fully multi-coated and offer a high image definition for a bright and clear image. This makes them ideal for observing such compact objects. The wider field of view shows more surroundings at the same magnification and thus gives an especially aesthetic view.

Features and advantages:
more field of view for longer obervations without tracking
longer eye relief, suitable for eyeglass wearers
adjustable eyecup for optimum comfort
very good on-axis sharpness
