GiRo Mini - a high quality alternative to 2D tilt/swing heads

The GiRo Mini has a plenty of good characteristics making it one of the most versatile mount heads for binoculars, spotting scoeps, cameras and - of course - telescopes.

Good ratio of own weight and payload

With a weight of only 1kg, the GiRo Mini is ligthweight and compact. It is the ideal base for systems up to approx. 9 kgs, especially for travelling, hiking and all other kinds of transport needing compact accessories. For systems over 4 kgs, we recommend the optional counterweight shaft.

Smooth tracking - horizontally and vertically

A special advantage is their precise adjustment. Even under high load, it can be moved precisely. Grab the telescope, swing it to the desired position and release it. It stops exactly at the desired point without any rebounce.

With the two knurled screws, one can adjust for the resitance from free swinging up to clamped.

We offer the GiRo Mini in a silver and black anodized version. When placing an order, please write in the "comments" field which version is preferred.

Suitable tripods for the GIRO Mini:

The GiRo Mino and our Triton tripods are a highly recommended combination.

In combination with the L-holder, the GiRo mini is a very good base for binoculars.

Even heavy binoculars with 100mm aperture are held solidly and can be swung up to the zenith.
