HORIZON spotting scopes are characterized by exceptional optics. The good internal blackening and the manufacturer's best multi coatings lead to a bright and high-contrast picture. Due to the ED glass objective, the image is very clear vwithout colour fringes.

The HORIZON ED 80 is a spooting scope designed for a rough environment. The robust aluminium body is protected by a rubber armour making it resisting even heavier shocks. The nitrogen purged interior prevents the inner optical surfaces from dew. Even in rain, observations are possible.

45° angled viewing position

The HORIZON spotting scopes have a very comfortable viewing position that is also suitable for eyeglass wearers. The eyepiece is tilted by 45° and can be turned by 360° thus giving the liberty of any viewing position from the top and from the side.

With optional adapters, you can turn the HORIZON spotting scope into a telephoto lens.

Adaptation is easy - screw the adapter over the zoom eyepiece and you are ready to attach the camera. The spotting scope remains fully functional, including focus and zoom.

Adapter for (D)SLR cameras: The adapter has a T2 thread on the camera side. Using the correct T2 ring (see the "accessories" folder)

Adapter for cameras with fixed objectives: The adapter has a M52 thread on the camera side. From this thread we can offer direct adaptations to many digital cameras.
