Once set up the spotting scope will reward you with sharp and clear images at high magnifications. The comfortable zoom eyepiece is ideal for most uses, but fixed magnification eyepieces are also available optionally.

This model is very popular also for target shooting. It works well at shooting distances up to about 100m. Under good light conditions even larger distances up to 300m are possible.

Digiscoping with the TS spotting scope This spotting scope is also a powerful telephoto lens. Find some photos in the "user reports" section prooving the performance of this optical system. (D)SLR cameras can be attached directly to the zoom eyepiece using a T2 adapter ring . For optimal field illumination, we recommend a 20 or 40 mm T2 extension tube. The resulting focal length is 900 respectively 1300 mm. This value can be further enhanced by turning the zoom eyepiece to higher magnification ratios. For optimal image brightness, we recommend the optional eyepieces with 25 or 19 mm fixed focal length. All you need additionally is the "WO Fotoadapter" and a T2 ring for your SLR camera model.

Teleskop-Service Tip: Photography with Spotting Scopes (Digiscoping):
The high-quality optical system allows using the spotting scope as powerful telephoto lens. Below the eyepiece's rubber eyeguard, there's a T2 thread for easy DSLR adaptation. You only need a T2 extension tube (TST2V20 for APS-C or BA1508153 for full format models) and a T2 bajonet ring for your camera model. The T2 extension screws onto the eyepiece and the T2 bajonet ring onto the extension. All these articles are found in the "photographical accessories section" below.
