TS 18-54x-55 mm Travel Spotting Scope with Desktop Tripod
Compact, portable yet strong in the image, that´s TSSP55Z from TS-Optics. Adjust the magnification to the observation conditions and the subject, the wide stepless magnification range from 18x for an overview to 55x for detailed observations makes it possible. The high-quality 2-element lens with multi-coating ensures a bright, clear and high-contrast image.

The TSSP55Z:
The spotting scope is a compact all-rounder. Sport shooters, hunters, nature observers, birdwatchers, sky observers and many other users will enjoy it. Above all, the spotting scope is very portable. It can be taken along on hikes or air travel.

The compact table tripod is already included:
The tripod has a 1/4" connection at the top, so it fits cameras and can be used as a compact photo tripod. The table tripod offers interesting features such as:
Very sensitive rotation in the horizontal plane by 360° - even at higher magnifications.
In the height you have a coarse adjustment and an exact fine adjustment.
The central bar of the tripod can be extended (approx. 10 cm).
The tripod has a 1/4" photo thread.


Digiscopy - Photography through the Spotting Scope
Use the TSSP55z also as a powerful telephoto lens. With the TSZ-T2 adapter, you equip the zoom eyepiece with a T2 (M42) thread. You can mount SLR cameras, system cameras or compact cameras using the appropriate connection rings. The adapter is linked in the accessories section.

photography with the Smartphone
The best camera is the one that is always with you and that is usually the smartphone. The compact 55 mm TS spotting scope is also always with you, which is why the two go so well together. Connecting the smartphone is easy:
Smartphones up to 80 mm wide: TSZ-T2 (T2 adapter) + SPA-T2 smartphone holder.

Teleskop-Service Tip: Photography with Spotting Scopes (Digiscoping):
The high-quality optical system allows using the spotting scope as powerful telephoto lens. Below the eyepiece´s rubber eyeguard, there´s a T2 thread for easy DSLR adaptation. You only need a T2 extension tube (TST2V20 for APS-C or BA1508153 for full format models) and a T2 bayonet ring for your camera model. The T2 extension screws onto the eyepiece and the T2 bajonet ring onto the extension. All these articles are found in the "photographical accessories section" below.

"Ich benutze das Spektiv auf dem KK-Schützenstand. Das Trefferbild ist auf 25m sowie auf 50m sehr gut zu erkennen. Das Glas ist für diese Preisklasse sehr gut. Einziger Nachteil, im zusammengebauten Zustand ist keine passende Schutzkappe für das Okular dabei."

"J´utilise la longue vue pour le tir a 25 m. La cible est nette, les impacts de balles en 22 lr sont parfaitement visibles même en grossissement 18x. Le trépied est solide mais je trouve la vis de fixation de la lunette mal conçue. Au niveau qualité de fabrication et de l´optique, cette longue vue n´a pas a rougir par rapport à des produits plus onéreux. Je la conseille pour le tir à 50 et 25 m en 22lr. Pour l´observation des oiseaux dans la nature je conseille de choisir une lunette de 80 ou mieux 100 mm. Celle-ci n´est pas pratique, le champ est trop restreint. "

"Das Spektiv kann, auch laut Meinung einiger Vereinskameraden mit teuren Produkten namenhafter Mitbewerber konkurieren. Einzig die Schraubverbindung Spektiv zu Statuv ist nihct unbedingt ideal bei dickeren Fingern, läßt sich jedoch verkraften."
