T2 Adaptor for Hyperion and Expanse

This adapater has a female M43 thread and adapts to a T-2 (M42x0.75) male thread. The length of this adapter is ca. 25mm. You need this lengh to be in the perfect projection distance from the eyepiece. A shorter distance may lead to unfocused edges as well as insufficient field illumination.

T2 adaptation Adaption for Hyperion and Expanse eyepieces

The Hyperion 1.25" and also the 2" Hyperion aspheric eyepieces have an eye lens surrounded by a M43 thread. Also the EXPANSE eyepieces have this thread.

The Hyp-T2 adapter fits to this thread (see picture on the left) and makes an adaptation to a male T-2 thread.

So you can fix a SLR camera directly the the Hyperion eyepiece using a standard T2 bayonet ring.
