The LE Series of Binoculars:

The TS LE series of binoculars features a particularly good value for money. LE stands for "Long Eye Relief", signifying a high observing comfort. On the LE series we have put particular emphasis on the good image quality. The binoculars of this series are multicoated for an astounding image clarity and brightness. Professional manufacturing processes guarantee an excellent image quality.

The 10x60 LE:

Powerful binoculars for a particularly bright image. The TS1060LE combines a high magnification of 10x with a very large exit pupil diameter (6mm) and consequently a particularly good image brighness.

Even inside a dense forest or in the dusk these binoculars will render detailed views of distant beasts and birds. This is particularly important for hunters as well as birdwatchers. Of course the binoculars are also ideal for astronomy.

10x magnification can still be used without tripod. The binoculars have a low weight,so despite their respectable size they are still easily portable even over long distances.

Applications:

Birdwatching: Compared with compact 10x42 binoculars the TS 10x60LE offers twice the light gathering power and a 43% larger exit pupil diameter. Both factors result in an image brightness that even premium grade compact binoculars cannot reach - simply because of the laws of optics and physics. This makes the 10x60 ideal for birdwatchers trying to spot birds' activities in dawn or dusk, or even at night.

Hunting: For the same reasons the 10x60 is also perfectly suited for hunters. With 10x magnification you can spot beasts at great distance. With these binoculars bright image you can easily discern details allowing for absolutely clear identification.

Astronomy: This binocular model is one of the largest that can still be used without a tripod. Compared with the "astronomical standard binoculars" 10x50 the 10x60 has 44% more light gathering power and also a larger exit pupil for an even brighter image. Hundreds of deep sky objects are within reach of these binoculars. The great advantage of binoculars is that they don't require a complicated setup procedure or cooldown time - you can practically use them from the first second! Recommendation: The double cluster in Perseus is a particularly pretty sight in these binoculars.

Excellent Viewing Comfort - Long Eye Relief:

The 10x60 LE has a long eye relief. This results in an excellent viewing comfort - you don't need to squeeze your eyes into the eyepiece.

With 19.9mm these binoculars have a longer eye relief than many premium binoculars. The 10x60LE is fully suitable for eyeglass wearers - even with glasses on you can still view the entire field of view. Just push back the soft rubber eyeguard and your glasses will rest securely on a rubber surface to avoid scratches.

Camera Tripod Adaptation:

With 10x magnification and a low weight the 60mm LE binoculars can be easily handled without a tripod. However for extended usage or for observing from a fixed location (e.g. an observation stand) you might want to place the binoculars on a tripod. For this we offer an optional tripod adaptor (see "recommended accessories") that will adapt the binoculars on any camera tripod.
