Medium format Flattener for apochromatic Refractors
- FLT Flattener

This flattener has been designed by one of the leading optical designers, Thomas M. Back. Especially with the FLT range (but also with other refractors having 3" focusers), this flattener leads to exceptional results.

With an optical diameter of 68mm, nearly all common sensors are illuminated without vignetting.

Adapting the flattener to telescopes and cameras:

With the thread on the left side, the Flattener screws directly to the 3.5" focusers of William Optics FLT telescopes. For other systems, we offer individual adapter solutions.

Due to the special threads, the aperture of 68mm can be fully used. With the standard T2 adapter, all normal DSLR cameras can be adapted using a T2 bajonet adapter.

Further adaptions:

A short SC adapter is included. You win 40mm back focus and can attach additional accessories like filter drawers or an off-axis-guider.
