Losmandy G11 - German equatorial mount with field tripod and Digital Drive System

The Losmandy G11 is a true standard in the field of German equatorial mounts. Design and finish are exceptional and result in high payload and compact dimensions. Tracking accuracy is high (we sell Losmandy mounts only with high precision worm gears).

Locking the R.A. and Dec axis is not necessary due to adjustable friction clutches. No need for an annoying search for locking levers in the dark.

Telescope connection is provided by D-size dovetail bars - we offer a wide range of accessories for this sturdy system.

Astro photography:

The digital drive system has PEC (periodic error correction) and TVC (gear play compensation in Dec). An Auto Guider can also be connected; the system is ST-4 compatible.

Even without PEC, the tracking accuracy is very high making the G11 a good base for astro photography.
