The Skywatcher Equinox objectives are well-crafted ED objectives - combined with a very good machined mechanical system. This combination makes the Equinox series to a good choice for nature- and star observers who don't want compromises and plan both visual and photographical use.

The apochromatic objective reduces false colour down to a non-disturbing minimum. The result are tack-sharp images with high contrast. Especially nature observers like birders and astro photographers who pay attention to natural colours find the right telescope here.

A powerful scope for photography:
Although the photographical quality is very good, we recommend the TS field flattener to achieve a nearly perfect objective. Due to the field curvature inherent to nearly any telescope system, the pictures might otherwise be not exactly in focus in the edge of the field.

Connection to mounts and tripods:

This telescope comes with machined clampshells. They accept standard prism rails. With our prism rail "PS foto deluxe" you can mount this scope to any GP-class mount. Same for the "PS21" - additionally, this prism rail can also be mounted to photo tripods.
