These extension rings make sense when you want a solidly screwed extension and need more field than the T2 system offers with its nearly 40mm.

Fields of use:
Extensioiin tube for astro photography when the focus lies behind the focuser; building a projection adapter for 2" eyepieces etc.

Practical tip by Teleskop-Service: Building your own 2" projection adapter
The sockets fit directly to the Baader "four in one" adapter. Here, you can combine these and have a 2" projection device afterwards.
