Description

1.25" neutral density filter - ND 1.8 - 1% Transmission

High precision plane-parallel glass by Baader - tension-free mounted - for 1.25" filter threads. The quality of Baader filters is superior to most standard grey filters. Light attenuation without colouring.
The filter's quality is so good that even with longer distances between filter and focal plane no performance reduction is visible. The substrate is plane-parallel, optically polished and anti-reflective coated.

Application:

Strong light dampening for telescopes with bigger apertures and/or solar observation (with appropriate objective filter).
