Baader VIP Barlow Apochromatic 2x VIP Barlow - modular - variable magnification - #2406101

This premium lens system has been designed by the same engineer who designed the Zeiss Abbe eyepieces. Specific for this Barlow is its enourmous versatility. It can be used both visually and photographically. By combination with additional adapaters, variable extension factors are possible.

From our point of view, it is one of the best and most flexible Barlow lenses avaialable.

This Barlow consists of seven individual parts guaranteeing optimal versatility. It gives uniform illumination up to small-size picture format or 2" eyepieces and can also be used as a glass path corrector e.g. for binoviewers. 2" and 1.25" eyepiece filters can be integrated. So you have a first-class projection system for lunar and planetary photography and for small deep-sky objects also.

It consists of:

14 - Adapter 1.25" to T-2

4D - Apochromatic Premium Barlow Element

25A1 - T-2 Adaptation for photography

25A2 - T-2 extension 15mm

29 - Adaptation to M-48 Filter thread - 2" eyepieces can be screwed in directly.

15 - high quality 1.25" reducer with clamping ring, two locking screws and thread protection


The VIP Barlow is perfectly suited for:

-- Photography with web cam and digital cameas
-- Visual observation with 1.25 and 2"
-- Glass path correction for binoviewers


A great advantage: the T2 direct connection

The VIP Barlow has T2 threads on the telescope side and also on the eyepiece side. So you can use T2 extension tubes in order to rise the magnification factor or to adapt individual accessories like 2" eyepieces.
