| TS Optics 8" f/5 Imaging Newtonian - improved mechanical system - for deep sky photography and observation ... Aperture: 200mm / focal length: 1000mm / photographic speed: f/5 ... Complete package with sturdy Celestron CGEM mount ... Colour of the tube is white

The 200/1000mm photo newtonian by TS Optics offers an optimal base for high-resolution astro photography. Its fast f/5 system allows moderate exposure times and the 63mm secondary mirror illuminates even bigger sensors. Of course this telescope is also a recommended choice for those who are more into visual observation. Advantages of the TS 200/1000 Imaging Newtonian: -- fast f/5 system for moderate exposure times -- low secondary obstruction of approx. 31% causing low diffraction effects compared with SC or similar systems -- free tube diameter of 225mm - no main mirror vignetting and lower tube seeing effects -- integrated fan for fast temperature stabilization -- improved MONORAIL focuser - superior to similar Crayford systems - with 1:10 dual speed transmission -- enough back focus for DSLR cameras and off-axis-guiders -- clampshells with threads for guiding scopes -- mirror surfaces with enhanced reflectivity for better quantum efficience -- precise diffraction-limited optics
The German equatorial mount CGEM by Celestron: This mount can be used for astro photography with telescopes up to approx. 20 kgs. It is a still transporable solution and offers load capacity for accessories like guiding scopes, cameras etc. Main features, beneath the good stability: -- Software optimized for astro imaging (easy polar alignment, permanent periodic error correction...) -- Autoguiding port (ST4) -- Precise GoTo system with approx. 40'000 objects -- Precise tracking system with low periodic error -- Incl. NexRemote PC control software with advanced PEC control ........................................................................................................ Link to the Celestron GoTo mount CGEM

Astro photography with the TS 200/1000mm Imaging Newtonian: The OTA's mechanical system and especially the 2" Monorail focuser are designed for high loads and high precision also. For long exposure times, a stiff system is essential. 2" coma corrector by TS (optional): A fast Newtonian system needs a good coma corrector. The new 2" TS coma corrector is a highly recommended photogrphical accessory part, optimized for such telescope designs. With its bigger aperture, it offers better field illumination than standard T2 systems. Fast cool-down time and easy collimation: The TS imaging newtonian is equipped with the proven metal nine-point mirror cell. Collimation is done with three black knurled screws and three counter screws. The relatively free situated main mirror and the 12V fan guarantee quick temperature stablilization. Improved field illumination: A manko of many Newtonian systems is a too narrow tube. The free aperture should be approx. 30mm wider than the main mirror diameter. At this telescope, the front baffle has a diameter of 230mm (30mm more than the main mirror) thus guaranteeing a non-vignetted field. This is a circumstance unfortunately forgotten by many competitors. Technical details: Aperture / focal length: 200mm / 1000mm Secondary mirror: 63 mm minor axis OTA weight: 8.6 kgs (with clampshells, focuser and 8x50 finder) Main mirror BK7, diffraction limited, with center mark for easier collimation Focuser 2" MONORAIL w/1.25" reducer, brass clamping ring, 1:10 dual speed transmission Dimensions: 230 x 930 mm (diameter x length) Scope of delivery: -- TS Imaging Newtonian 200/1000mm with front dust cover -- Metal clampshells with M6 threads on both sides -- 8x50 straight viewfinder with quick-release holder -- 2" Monorail focuser with 1.25" reducer and 35mm extension tube -- 12V main mirror fan with external battery box -- Collimation manual -- Celestron CGEM German equatorial mount with 2x 8.2 kg counterweights |
