TS 3

The biggest Flattener by Teleskop-Service with 68mm of free aperture has been designed for large-format sensors. It corrects for field curvature without altering the focal length. The flattener is screwed directly to the focuser for optimal stiffness. It is especially suited for:

-- William FLT APOs FLT 98, 110 and 132 (with 3.5" focuser)
-- Astro Professional Triplet APO 115 and 130 (with 3" focuser)
-- TS Triplet Apo 115mm
-- TS ED Apos Deluxe with 3" focuser
-- TS Individual 152 - rich field refractor

The adequate sized connection thread allows using the full aperture of 68mm. With mounted T2 bajonet adapter, the distance is automatically correct for (D)SLR cameras.

For this powerful flattener, we offer a wide choice of adaptations. Find e.g. adapter rings to the Baader 3" Steeltrack or 2.5" Moonlite focuser in the "accessories" folder.

Adapting a camera to the Flattener:

Adaption to T2 - e.g. for DSLR cameras:
In the scope of delivery. there's a conic T2 adapter. The distance from its T2 thread to the focal plane is exactly 55mm.

Short adaptation to M69 - e.g. to attach Off-Axis-Guiders (TSFlat3-M69):

The distance from the M80 thread to the focal plane is 106mm. Starting from this adapter, you can directly attach our 2.5" off-axis-guider or the M48 adapter. Distance adapater - focal plane: 93mm.
