TS Adaptor M48 female thread to M42x1 male thread - very low profile
... special adaptor from TS Optics. Converts an M48 male thread to an M42 male thread.

The TS adaptor M48 to M42 is a classic "problem solver". With it you can convert a male M48 thread to a male M42x1 thread with minimum possible mechanical length.

Specifications:

The difference between M42x1 and T2

M42 and T2 often create confusion. Both threads have the same diameter of 42mm, but a different pitch. The M42 thread (we usually call it M42x1 to avoid confusion) has a pitch of 1mm per turn. The T2 thread has a pitch of 0.75mm per turn. The M42 thread is frequently used on old Russian cameras and lenses. The T2 thread is a common system thread for which many adaptations are available.

Special adaptor combination ... if you combine this adaptor with our TSVF230 extension tube you get a prime focus adaptor from 2" to T2 without a stopping flange and without a safety undercut. Experience shows that safety undercut often do not work well with focusers with a compression ring. The effective length of this adaptation is 0mm! ....... Linkto the TSVF230
