This cell is suitable for energy rejection filters (ERF filters) and for glass solar filters. The cell is individually custom made for your particular telescope and your particular filter. The filter is held free from strain. Adaptation to your telescope can be made to tight tolerances limited only by the measuring precision for the tube or dewcap diameter. In addition the cell can be fixed in place with three plastic screws.

Which dimensions do we need from you?

When ordering this filter please inform us about the following details. You can write them into the comments field when checking out in our online shop.

-- Diameter of the dewcap or telescope tube where the filter shall be installed. Please also let us know how precise your measurement is so that we can adjust the tolerance of the filter. If no tolerance is given we will err on the safe side, i.e. we will make the filter slightly larger. The filter can then still be fixed safely using the three locking screws.
-- Diameter and thickness of the filter. If you also order the filter from us at the same time you of course do not need to supply that information!
-- Please also let us know if we shall install the filter or if you want to do it yourself!
