Skywatcher HDAZ SkyTee with tripod

With the HDAZ SkyTee, Skywatcher has designed a brainy Alt-Azimuthal mount. The precise production quality follows the design idea. CNC machined parts offer excellent stability and stiffness. Quality bearings allow smooth operation in both axes. Telescopes up to approx. 8kgs can be mounted on both arms and our optional L-holder makes the adaption of binoculars possible.

Recommended fields of use:
-- Ideal for fast setup and / or pure observation when no automatic tracking is necessary
-- Massive photo tripod - with optional prism rails also useable with cameras
-- Very good for binoculars - they can be swung from the horizon up to the zenith

-- Max. load approx 8kgs per side (> 4kg single load, we recommend using a counterweight)
-- Heigh-adjustable from 100 to 158 cm
-- Mount and tripod can be divided without tools
-- Weight incl. tripod: approx. 9.5 kgs

Weight compensation at heavier tubes:
Below 4 kg telescope weight on one arm, no counter weight is necessary. With heavier systems, we recommend using a second telescope on the other side or a counter weight system. This consists of:
