This adjustable height aluminium tripod can be modified with moderate effort to accept a broad variety of different mounts, ballheads or panheads. It is much stronger than typical camera tripods of similar price and is therefore ideal for saving money.

Shape of the Tripod Head:

-- Flat top surface with 60mm diameter
-- Central hole with 30mm diameter
-- Around the flat top surface there is a ring of 8mm thickness that rises above the surface.
-- Three holes with 5mm diameter are located 25mm from the center at 120° angles.

Adapting photographical Panheads or Ball Heads

The adaptation can be rather simple if you can live with a non-textbook solution. Just use a long screw (see recommended accessories) and a washer that is bigger than the central hole. Then you can easily attach the head from below.
